  • Monitoring your eating habits is the most effective way of lowering and maintianing cholestrol levels
  • To lower fat intake , avoid fried foods and sweets like cakes, pastries,chocolates and mithais.
  • Limit the use of butter with toast and sandwiches. Instead use chutneys without coconut.
  • Avoid red meats. Eat fish and lean white meat.
  • At one meal consume raw salad instead of cooked vegetables, or consume stream vegetables.
